Frequently Asked Questions

Park Dental Aligners™

Park Dental Aligners™ are so clear that they’re virtually invisible — people may not even notice you’re wearing them. You can remove them to eat and drink, to brush and floss, or for meetings and special occasions. There are no metal brackets or wires that can irritate your mouth or break, sending you to your doctor for an emergency visit. Our aligners are easy to use, convenient, and comfortable.

From the start of your Park Dental Aligners™ custom treatment plan, to the last aligner in your series, a doctor is involved in the process. Some doctors may have you take your own impressions and/or smile photos to submit; these will be reviewed by our professional smile team, as well as your doctor, so that we can give you the best smile plan.

Our aligners are made of smooth, comfortable, BPA-free plastic that won't irritate your gums and cheeks like traditional metal braces can.

All clear dental aligner companies use similar methods and similar materials. Park Dental Aligners™ are the easiest, most affordable way to achieve a professional, beautiful, brighter smile without the use of brackets or conventional braces.

Park Dental Aligners™ Custom Guide:

Everyday. Wear your Park Dental Aligners™ daily as outlined in your custom smile plan from your doctor. You may remove them for cleaning, eating, drinking brushing your teeth, flossing, meetings, or special occasions.

Best results will be achieved when users adhere to their custom guide plan including the length of time the aligners are worn.

You should gently brush them with a toothbrush using only clear antibacterial soap before rinsing them in lukewarm water. Never use hot water on your aligners — it could permanently warp the plastic.

No. We recommend that you remove your aligners before eating or drinking.

Contact your doctor immediately to have a replacement made and shipped to you or for other instructions as your doctor may see fit.

Every Park Dental Aligners™ kit comes with a professional Whitening Kit that can be used in conjunction with your aligners.

We include Chews with your aligners to help you get a better fit. Simply insert your aligners, put your Chews between your teeth, and chew as if they were a piece of gum. Use your Chews for 10-15 minutes at a time, 2-3 times per day.

Just like after a good workout at the gym, most people experience some soreness for a few days after wearing a new aligner. This is a perfectly normal sign that your aligners are working and gently moving your teeth to their final position. This soreness should gradually go away after the first few days of wearing a new aligner. If the pain doesn't go away, contact your dental professional for assistance.

If the aligners are irritating your gums, you can use the included aligner file to gently smooth the edges of your aligners for a more comfortable fit.

Typically, once you have completed your custom aligner series, your doctor will provide a set of retainers to maintain your beautiful smile.

Your retainers will be made from a stronger material and should last 4-6 months. You'll wear your retainers 24 hours a day (except for eating and drinking) for the first two weeks. After that, you'll want to wear your them only while you sleep. We recommend replacing your retainers every six months to keep them fresh.

Your doctor will be able to make specific recommendations to you based on your individual needs.
